DAY FOURTEEN POST FOUR

This one's amazing - marijke look! another haiku

i love that xkcd has managed to have at least 2 haikus in the comic. i sent this out as an email, but apparently didn't embed it in my blog (and, indeed, didn't even accompany it with a haiku, for shame). Fun fact: haiku is an operating system as well! Makes sense, given the comic. Haiku is based off BeOS, which published some of its error messages in haiku:
Sites you are seeking
From your path they are fleeing
Their winter has come.

And looking up worst haiku poems, I actually love this one. Reminds me of the time I was driving with my friend Maria in high school, having a conversation, where she brought up about 20 different topics in a minute, and upon starting a discussion of whether she may have ADD, she declared -- hey look! birds! The haiku:
I have ADD
Did you know that ADD-
Hey look a pony!

PS did yall notice today I remembered the block quote function? There's a host of other treats in store once I start remembering html code! Font changes, blinky text, and maybe even a cursor that trails a rainbow. Wait for it. Anticipate.

DAY ELEVEN POST TWO

So here's the real start for the day.

Woke up with dreams of going to the gym... because I was supposed to go to the gym, but just dreamed it instead. PHOTO ROUNDUP TIME YALL!

Look at these pictures of Crimea.

This picture isn't as popular as Migrant Mother, but I love it.

Smash His Camera... I'd love to see this. And this.

This was widely reported last year and early this year. I really like Vivian Maier.

I love the big picture. This one's amazing. I know I've blogged a lot about the Occupy Wall Street stuff, but the picture of 99% here is REALLY SWEET. *SPECIAL FOR MARIJKE - THERE IS A HAIKU IN THERE - LOOK AT 28* But seriously, these pictures are amazing and often highlight news items that you may not otherwise know about.
