DAY ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTEEN

The year of herkes on top (HOT) was very much at a stand-still there, but is back on track! Sort of. I still have to get that violin.

I'm also not sure how well rounded it is for me to just listen to Gotye on repeat, over and over and over and over and over, but the song is just SO GOOD!! I'm going to see what Ira Glass and This American Life have to say about it (well, not it, but other songs). I wonder if they think the Adele theory that I blogged about is true. There's a lot of Phil Collins - INCLUDING AN ACTUAL INTERVIEW! - which is kind of completely awesome, but a lot of wallowing in pity, which is actually kind of annoying to listen to.

Today would be a PERFECT day to sit around in a patio, hanging out, drinking oberon except unfortunately the only one close enough is currently occupied by a lot of sewage. and there's no oberon here.

i'm really craving me some Nietzche and Kundera and now slaughterhouse five and reading about fatalism and eternal return and unbearable lightness.
