DAY FIFTY THREE

To resolve a debate we had last weekend, there are definitely more native speakers of Esperanto than Klingon, and indeed, more fluent speakers of Esperanto. Also, even if your mother is a human, it really doesn't sound that bad on this planet to say so.

Among those who are native in Esperanto are George Soros, while the one attempt to raise a child native in Klingon didn't work too well, including the lack of terms for 'bottle' and 'diaper' in Klingon. The most widely-spoken constructed languages, not surprisingly, are various programming languages. Boring. The other ones are way, way more interseting, like Volapük.
