more longform! man, this day has been a good one for me to learn new things!
but first, abstract work what what! i like this one bc it's purty. and purty.
and big ups to major shoulder pain every day! counting down the time til i can get a new keyboard thingy to put under my desk so it doesn't hurt!
contracts are oddly interesting. weird. but my computer at work is making me really, really, really, really, really sad because it's obviously quite in need of some assisted suicide but as far as i can tell that's illegal in this office, judging by the sickly, screaming in pain nonagenarian computer in officemate's former office
officemate plus other people who were drunkenly discussing the 'benefits' of living in taiwan have basically convinced me that it would be a terrible idea in terms of my continuing frustration with the (overall) set of very messed up individuals who live abroad to choose to move from an area which i find quite frustrating (/startling and boring lack of diversity of jobs people choose to go into) to what sounds to be an even more terrible place (hello very messed up socialization!). and now i want to go to new york, d.c., london or paris. civilization and adequately adjusted intelligent individuals. it's so boring that i crave normalcy. maybe i should stop reading new york magazine and nytimes and new yorker?
but then again, american politics makes me sad.
top four employers of gaylord, michigan back in the day: the school district, glen's market, the hospital, and the plywood factor.
nytimes article: uptalk. still don't like it no matter what the article says. hi, i'm a lawyer? but totally cute: fathers of young daughters uptalk to show non-dominance. adorable!
and just like that, poof, she's gone! fav wilfred reference yesterday. as usual, show's amazing.
