Day five began with a horrible, horrible discovery. THERE IS NO FILTER COFFEE. THERE IS NO FILTER COFFEE. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITHOUT COFFEE FOR THE next 11 hours of my life?
THIS USED TO BE ME AND I AM SO SAD ABOUT THAT IT'S NOT ANY MORE

All great lakes are not equally great. We all know that Erie sucks, the question is how much does it suck? Let's look at retention times:
Superior: 191 very cold years
Michigan <3: 99 not nearly as cold years
Huron: 22 years
Erie: 2.6(!) years
Ontario: 6 years
Lake Erie also freezes over. Lame. Oh yeah, and all the pollution and the dead zone that appeared in 1993 but may be a "natural" phenomena. You know, one of those natural, reoccuring every year phenomena that was never observed before 1993. duh. but sall good because DOPPLER RADAR picked up swarms of insects returning to the lake signifying good health. a plague = good health? ok! http://www.post-gazette.com/healthscience/19990726mayfly1.asp
i've loved all the recent press about various slutwalks, and love this blog (which features a badass activist friday - what's not to love??) about the intersection of occupy wall street and the nyc slutwalk: "and why, on saturday, my sex work has nothing to do with your capitalism"
